Come join us at Groovolution to celebrate National Dance Day! Jen will take you through a series of drills, layering and all around belly dance awesomeness! Come explore a world of layering, locks, ooey gooeyness, sultry undulations and body waves... Now take all that throw it into a shaker and grab on. Its time to make it a choreography. Get ready for two and a half hours of muscley yumminess.

Come celebrate National Dance week and join Debby of Groovolution and Pyrofusion for a two hour workshop on Yoga for Dancers. We will be focusing on asanas (postures) that are ideal for increasing flexibilty and catering to the needs of dancers as well as anyone who wishes to improve their skills in the art of becoming more flexible

This workshop will focus on; - Choreography...Vocabulary of movements, drama, skirts - the magic of the Fan- for all levels. Please bring FULL SKIRT & FAN - Maja will have substitutes. MAJA was the first teacher to bring the whole new vision of TRIBAL FUSION BELLY DANCE & the Gypsy flavor to the Florida community, is a renowned teacher in all styles of Belly Dance and sponsor SPIRIT OF THE TRIBES, largest Tribal fusion event in Ft. Laud & Director of the Gypsy Tribe.

MAJA crosses boundaries and integrates different styles & disciplines to grow, discover new spaces, & take our Dance to a real cultural experience.

MAJA is born in Egypt, w/ Romanian- Algerian & Russian Roots, lived in Brazil for years, of multi-ethnic
parents, spent many years incorporating the many styles of world dance into her presentations of passion
and ritual. Her Dance is a blending and reflection of the passion of her roots & will share her particular & passionate Fusion movements with you. Don’t miss it.

Dynamic Drills and Technique Workshop with Yvonne
August 1st 5:00PM - 7:30PM
$35 in advance $40 at the door

This class is designed for intermediate through advanced level belly dancers who want to strengthen their bodies and dance techniques. You will be taught muscle memory techniques and the drills needed to define and strengthen your isolation movements and learn to incorporate them into your existing dance style. This class will start with basic drills and end with combinations using those drills, as well as adding finger cymbals. This isn’t your “old school” style belly dance class! Come prepared to really workout your body and leave a wee bit tired!
